How scammers trick you

Most scams follow the same sequence, whether they arrive as phishing, a fake APK, impersonation, or an investment pitch.

  1. Contact

A call, message, or app appears from someone you think you should trust.

  2. Trust

They borrow a familiar name: a bank, courier, police officer, recruiter, or relative.

  3. Urgency

You are told to act right now and keep it secret, or a payment, account, or case will be lost.

  4. Payment

They ask for money, an OTP, an APK, remote access, or personal details.
