Cyber Terrorism

Online posts or messages that threaten public safety are a police matter. Do not forward them.

Warning signs

  1. A message threatens people, a public place, or a basic service like power, water, or transport.

  2. A stranger asks you to keep it secret or to pass it on.

  3. The account is new, or it is pretending to be a real organisation.

  4. You are told that reporting it is not allowed.

Do not forward it. Report it to the police. You can also report it at cybercrime.gov.in.
